Lancelot Systems
The Lancelot Method
A three-phase framework that turns scattered resources into a system your family can actually use.
A method, not just a toolkit
"The method teaches you what tool to reach for, when to reach for it, and how to use it inside your own family's story."
Assess
Understand where your family stands
Before you can build a system, you need an honest picture of where you are. The Assess phase of The Lancelot Method guides you through a structured reflection of your child's current needs, your caregiving capacity, the support systems already in place, and the gaps that are costing you the most time and energy.
This is not a clinical intake form. It's a practical exercise designed to give you a clear starting point — so that the tools you choose actually fit the family you have, not an idealized version of it.
Organize
Build a system around your child's real life
The Organize phase is where the framework becomes tangible. Using the assessment you've completed, you'll build a personalized organization system — whether that's a digital workspace in Notion, a physical binder, a printed schedule, or a combination — that puts the right information exactly where you need it.
This phase draws directly on the Lancelot Systems resource library: the templates, journals, visual tools, and printables are all designed to slot into your system at this stage, so you're not starting from scratch or stitching together tools from five different sources.
Advocate
Walk into every meeting with confidence
The Advocate phase is where the system pays off. Armed with organized documentation, a clear picture of your child's needs, and the advocacy guides in the Lancelot Systems library, you'll be equipped to participate meaningfully in IEP meetings, medical appointments, and school transitions.
Advocacy for a child with special needs is not about being the loudest voice in the room. It's about being the most prepared one. The Lancelot Method is built to make that preparation feel manageable — because you've already done the work.
Do I need to follow the method in a specific order?
The three phases — Assess, Organize, Advocate — are designed to build on each other, so starting with Assess gives you the clearest foundation. That said, many families come to the system mid-journey. If you already have strong documentation in place, you can begin in the Organize or Advocate phase and work backward as needed.
Is The Lancelot Method specific to one diagnosis?
No. The method was built to work across diagnoses and ages — from autism and ADHD to rare syndromes and physical disabilities, from newly diagnosed toddlers to young adults navigating transitions. The framework is about your family's specific situation, not a clinical category.
Does this replace the support of therapists or specialists?
The Lancelot Method is an organizational and advocacy framework — it is not therapy, medical guidance, or legal advice. It works alongside your existing professional team by helping you organize information, track progress, and show up more prepared to every appointment and meeting.
